An Alphabet of Thanksgiving
An Alphabet of Thanksgiving
When you learn to read you begin with letters, the small parts of the bigger things called words which then lead to wonderful stories. It would seem to be the same way with learning thankfulness. In celebration of Thanksgiving Day, a friend suggested that we compile a list of God’s blessings to us, with one for each letter of the alphabet. It was a challenge and a good one.
My list may seem trivial at first. Each of these blessings is a little thing, a pearl on a string, a stroke of color in a painting, a note in a cantata, a letter in the beautiful story of God’s grace.
For more reasons to thank God, see Dandelion Bouquet.
Please Note: The entry for E is not a little thing; it’s a Little thing. (I apologize to those who are not “in” the joke. I also apologize to those who are. ;)
