Leave of Absence
You may expect to see less of me here as I reengage my herbal medicine studies with greater focus and rigor than I have lately been dedicating to them. By limiting my other activities, enjoyable and educative as they may be, I hope to see an improvement in the slow progress that has been such a discouragement to me. It will be very satisfying to cross some of those projects from my list!
As the season turns, I look forward to doing some of that study out-of-doors, though perhaps not so elegantly made-up as this fair lady. ;-)
I do plan to post on occasion, so visit some time. The Scriptures, my studies, and Wendell Berry have been giving me much to ponder, and I have several posts in various stages of development. Meanwhile, my sister continues to update her blog A Still Small Voice.

Thank you, Elissa. I have indeed been enjoying myself. Accomplishment is sweet!
I hope to be back soon with a post about the “Well-Tempered Life,” based on personal application of Bach’s beautiful collection “The Well-Tempered Clavier.” Until then...
