A Maiden Voyage
PT5-16 has been launched. Over the past few months, the men have been building a glass-bottom barge—er, boat—that would carry all nine of us. Using a glass table-top, and plenty of wood, fiberglass, and paint, they have created a beautiful craft that promises many fun adventures on the water. Getting it down to the water was an adventure itself. Visit the photo album for a pictorial account of the christening and maiden voyage.
We cheer the launching of PT5-16 with sparkling cider in golden goblets.

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun! Who came up with the idea of a glass bottom?

Papa has always wanted to build a boat for the family, and a glass tabletop suggested the rest. I’m glad you enjoyed this!
