ON A SUMMER DAY
Summertime is always the best of what might be.—Charles Bowden
Co-op classes have ended. I’ve graded final exams and sent final emails; I’ve packed away the rhythm shakers and filed away the forms and rosters. I have loved teaching every class—and I have Latin, Shakespeare, and possibly folk dance classes to plan for September.
For now, I am glad to have some free time {ha!} for the projects and the self-nourishment that has taken a back seat these last months. I can feel myself relaxing, just reading over my new schedule for days out of the office.
It’s not officially summer yet, I realize. This summer is a state of mind. :-) {The Beach Boys are already getting airtime in this house!}
