Book Inventory 2012
Twice a year I take inventory of my personal library, dusting the shelves, flipping through the well-loved pages, and making lists. As of this month I have (omitting various pamphlets and workbooks) 128 titles double-lining the four shelves that are my own. I love all of these books, but special favorites are marked with a star. You can read more about these and many of the others at the Bibliotheca.
Edit: Mama has been spring-cleaning and she’s given me some books from her shelf. (Thank you, Mama!) I’ve added them to the list below.

I just checked out The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady at my tiny local library. I am in love with it, and must renew it tomorrow for another two weeks of beauty.

I’m so glad to have “introduced” you! I treasure my copy of Holden’s amazing journal. A friend of ours uses her copy to decorate her nature table; she props the book open to a page from the current month. Beautiful!
